“The only thing that remains constant is change”

Yea, I’m thinkin’ the person that first said that ran an Estate Sale Company and were speaking of many situations, but in our case, this time, it was a home sale that fell through.  Apologies for saying we would start a sale this past Monday — that one is now postponed.  So, let’s roll with the changes and Sale On with another PACKED home …

11187 Grandview — Overland Park, KS 66210
WEDNESDAY, September 12   ………………………….  7:30 – 5p
THURSDAY, September 13  ……………………………..   8a – noon at 50% OFF (love that!)
** off College, across from Corporate Woods, just West of Antioch, go South on Grandview … home is in the Grandview culdesac, which is the second left.  There are verrrry few parking spaces in the culdesac, so plan on parking on the main Grandview, thanks.

Where. does. it. all. come. from?  We ask that almost every sale we set up (funny, we ask that of rooms in our own homes!).  This is a really nice sale with an awesome variety …  4 adult bikes, Lawnboy and Toro mowers, a Craftsman 19.5 HP riding mower, metal desks and cabinets, Harvard Ping Pong fold-up table, Maytag washer and dryer, nice outdoor wrought iron table/chairs, strong metal dog house, fountain statuary, 2 dog carriers, pots/pans, small appliances, solid wood kitchen table/chairs, navy LaZBoy rocker recliner, carved wood easel, framed artwork, nice KING mattress set, many chests/dressers/end tables, MANY excercise machines: Backtech 2000, Gazelle, Soloflex, AbLounger (to work on yo abs cuz ya been loungin’), Body Shop, 5′ long coffee table that slide-extendos out on both ends, old fans, many Christmas trees, several outdoor unbrellas, books, hunting gear (boots, jackets, coveralls – and camo IS the new look in leisure beeteedubs), stereo equipment, darrrr-ling wicker desk and twin headboard, 2 Texan Loadmasters (so ya can pack yer own), bench grinder, big-daddy vise, hand tools, an old 27 drawer old grey metal cabinet, golf clubs, lotsa holiday, beautiful dining table and buffet, secretary, 2 king headboards, many chests/dressers/end tables, nice men’s clothes/shoes, SANTA suit (someone call the North Pole to give the 911 on that 411), 5′ wide-round-grey-metal-shelved-carousel (means it spins) display rack, mirrors, frames, grim reaper mask (perf for the end of October festivities or scaring the crap outta your neighbor at home or work!), nice ProLine Chiefs jacket, a TYLO sauna home kit (decent size, solid wood panels – niiiiice, entertainment center/armoires, Rockband set (drums, guitar, mic & foot thing), pair o’ Leather/banana leaf Tommy Bahama-look coolio chairs, Tiffany-look hanging lamp, pair of antique lamps, a Quik n EZ In Step kid carrier (that connects to one of the adult bikes you’ll buy here), and 5 brand-spanking new ring bearer pillows for those peeps with upcoming nups … Trish, did ya hear that??

Since it seems we are almost al-ways having sales on culdesacs, and because we here at Blue Tape want to continually be knowledge sponges, we’d like to share a recent nugget of knowledge:  the literal French translation of “culdesac” means “bottom of a bag”.  Um, ok.  However, the current meaning is “a place in which an Estate Sale attendee finds difficulty in parking”. It is what it is, peeps and we thank you in advance for not parking IN the culdesac.

And anotha fyi, we will have 3 sales next week … BAM!
Monday-Tuesday just West of 101 and Mission
Wednesday-Thurs 67 and Lamar
Thursday only at 77 and Lamar
