One of THE most fun things about our business is that we get to go to a different office every week … the variety of the homes, the people, the stuff keeps it all fresh and fun 🙂  We SO enjoy watching what people buy and the stories (ya know I love a good story!) of where the stuff will end up or what it may turn into … y’all are a bunch of creative whipper-snappers, ya are 🙂  Monday’s Blue Tape office is:

4916 W. 120 Terrace Overland Park, KS
** btw Roe and Nall, take Tomahawk Creek Pkwy to Briar and go North to 120 Terrace. The house is located to the right however comma there is n.o. parking in front of the house bc it is a culdesac, so grab yerself a spot on Briar or 120 Terr to the left.
MONDAY  ………………………  7:30am to 4pm
TUESDAY  ……………………..  8am to 11am @ HALF PRICE

There are some really beautiful furniture pieces here … a stunning Johnson 3-drawer chest, Johnson 4-drawer desk, a reallly nice Beautyrest pillowtop Queen-size mattress set, fainting couch, Ethan Allen chests, Henredon dresser, rectangular marble-top coffee table, several antique oval tables (in S, M, & L, like the Bear family with the porridge shortage), many pieces of Waterford (not Marquis), lots of beautiful colored glass vases/dishes/bowls etc, large Majolica bowl/pot, some cool s.plate serving and sterling pcs, wing back chairs, carved wood button-back chairs, Waverly couch, cool hall desks, 2 marble top plant stands, 2 3-panel lighted curio cabinets …

… a 54″ Vizio flatscreen TV, costume jewelry, LaZBoy light celery color sleeper sofa in excellent condition, framed artwork & cool mirrors, full length floor mirror, full mattress set, books, cutie-patootie tuxedo back-look white club chair, nice wheelchair, walker, potty and shower chair (for those of you who have been asking!), parisan figurines,  solid wood kitchen table/6 chairs, antique secretary/curio, Cuisinart pots/pans, crystal stemware, several caned chairs (not candy-caned, just regular caned, ok?), and 6 card tables full of old and newer baseball related stuff — memorabilia, ticket stubs, patches, balls, bats, bobbleheads, books and more (brought in and priced by the baseball fan), 2 rectangular concrete plant pots, and a VHS copy of The Big Chill.  One of the BEST movies e-ver.  Sarah: “Michael, if you’re going to sleep this late, you’re going to miss a few minidramas.”  Or, “I’ll be right bat!”  And so who knows who had the part of Alex (the friend that passed hence the funeral/reunion) … hmmm?

Oh, and consider this a Post-It-string-around-your-finger to remember that we are having  SECOND sale next week, running Wednesday and Thursday around 81st and Lamar.   Cutie house pretty dern full of … sctuff.  My fav is set of mid-century dining (table, hutch, buffet and sideboard ~ love) with the email going out on Monday night.  Yes, you would be correct:  the fun simply never ends at The Blue Tape, just sayin 🙂
