The home and it’s furnishings is like a step back in time … the homeowners, Dorothea Simpson Meriwether Morris’ family played an integral part in KS and MO history and specifically early Lawrence and her father’s family (Meriwether) came to KC from Kentucky in the early 1900’s and is related to Meriwether Lewis.
