How adorable is this gal … she (an artist) and her friend (an artist) decided to move to New Mexico and open an Art Gallery!  Carpe Diem and holy cow what a fab adventure … and a new travel destination for me, woo-hoo!  So let’s send them on their way with some gas money, alrighty??

And since one is sooo not enough, we have another polar-opposite sale immediately after the above sale to be held on Wednesday and Thursday, just East of 87th St. and Nall.  The home and it’s furnishings is like a step back in time … the homeowners, Dorothea Simpson Meriwether Morris’ family played an integral part in KS and MO history and specifically early Lawrence and her father’s family (Meriwether) came to KC from Kentucky in the early 1900’s and is related to Meriwether Lewis.  The sale home is rich in history, rich in interest and knocks it outta the park in “I gotta go cool factor”!  And now I gotta go as I have another ad to write for our Early American Extravaganza 🙂
