I’ve heard it said that writer’s get their inspiration from things that are special to them ~ things that bring them joy.  Hmmm, makes sense.  After 3 full days of set up at our aDORable homeowner’s house, navigating around (nice) contractors, their supplies and dumpster, appliance “fix-it” guys, movers shifting furniture around the home, I decided to find my writing inspiration in my friends, Ben & Jerry.  Bring on the joy …

I’d like for y’all to indulge me for a minute.  My passion in ‘resale’ is deep-seeded in my Mother’s genes.  From childhood into my adulthood, we’d go to and hold sales with my family.  For Christmas ~ even with 7 siblings, 6 in-laws and 16 grandchildren ~ our Christmas gifts from my Mom consisted of large yellow Boy Scout trash bags filled with wrapped treasures from sales.  For many years I’d beg my friends to coordinate their sales and now with Blue Tape Sales, we “get to go to work” each day doing what we love and loving what we do.  My Mom’s 85th Birthday was Monday.  She had Alzheimer’s for 5 years before she passed 7 years ago, so she never got to see all this.  But because of your continued support of Blue Tape Sales (and the verrry best A Team) my Mom is a part of my everyday.  Simply and graciously, I say thank you 🙂

You rock,

Nancy ~
