**660 W 61st Terrace–Sale is located on 61st Terrace, between Ward Parkway and Wornall Road in Kansas City, Missouri. Since this isn’t a moving sale, the family is still in the home and thank you for respecting their privacy.

This is a unique sale as the family is not moving out of the home. The homeowner’s wife passed away and he decided it was time to have some of their belongings bless others. All of his proceeds will go towards the Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Kansas City Art Institute Art Scholarship Fund he has created in her honor and a portion of Blue Tape Sales proceeds will go towards the Scholarship Fund as well. The sale consists of an amazing amount of nice clothing, handbags, 300 or so pairs of shoes/boots, scarves, fabulous home décor, holiday, dishes, kids toys, some art misc and a dining room dedicated to only jewelry. We do hope that you’ll join us.

Clothing:

Eight racks fully loaded with every style, color and occasion possible. Ralph Lauren, Dana Buchman, Coldwater Creek, Peruvian Collection, Banana Republic, Cabi, Kensie, Nine West and other department store brands. Most are smaller sizes and many that will work with many sizes. We have basic t-shirts to black tie – office wear to yoga class – Boho chic to classicly classic and a vintage fur collared quarter sleeved jacket that one lucky lady will be sporting this fall …

Terrific selection of scarves as well – a full clothes rack fulla them 🙂 Pashminas, wool, cashmere, cotton, winter and several that simply will make your outfit say: “I look goooooood” …

Shoes:

Most of them are sizes 8 and 7 ½ and what a selection! My faves, of course, would be the cowboy boots … several pairs in many colors also knee-high, ankle boots, leather & suede, rain boots and also have a phenom selection of heels, flats, wedges, sandles, loafers, tennis shoes, mules (who came up with that name??) …

Linens:

Sunroom full of comforters/spreads, sheets, new pillows, shams … terrific selection of decorative pillows, clothing rack full of nice table linens, some new towels, alphabet quilt, nice placemats and fabric napkin sets …

Handbags:

Handbags e-ver-y-where! Large, small, evening, leather, beaded, cross body, eclectic to basic and everything in between. Also have a large faux Louis Vuitton duffle bag …

Jewelry:

One of the largest selections of jewelry in recent Blue Tape Sales history. Such a remarkable selection of everything from 18K to fun costume. We have 14K earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and rings; 18K bracelets (and 1 ring), SO very much sterling – necklaces, bracelets, rings and pins. Some names include Simone Sebaag, Doris Panos, Alexis Bittar, Gale Rothstein and many artisan pieces … Crazy good selection of unique beaded necklaces, many stunning pieces made by the homeowner’s wife.   Also have an authentic GUCCI digital watch with box and original price tag so it’s ready (with a fresh battery) for gifting for your Gucci-lovin’ guy or gal pal … or for yourself! …

Hats:

Over THIRTY of the most vibrant and beautiful works of millinery art from the 1950’s-60’s– a hat collector’s lottery, if you will. The colors are majestic and the artistry is extraordinary. Several vintage hat boxes as well …

And SO much more! Because there is so much and our space is limited, we anticipate limited entry at the beginning of the sale. Jewelry room will be limited entry to (what we currently believe to be) 6 guests at a time though will do our best to accommodate more if possible.

If you get to the sale before we open at 11:30am, please leave a line marker of some sort at the designated line marker on the home’s sidewalk (a pen, soda can – something that identifies your place in line). Please note that you may go back to your car but if you leave the area you will lose your place in line. That’s bummersville.
