Soooo, I know we told you that our first sale o’ the 2018 season was our Cedarcreek sale (January 28-29), but last week we received a call from a friend who said “INEEDASALE SOOOOON, help!”. We’re on it.

Before I begin, let me say that we had limited time with which to set this sale so some of the pics are as we found the items and wanted to get the pictures out to you. When you get to the sale you’ll see that we’re “keeping it Blue” with a lovely layout and organized awesomeness … that’s how we roll. Alrighty then, we have …

An “I-must-be-at-the-lake-or-cabining-in-the-mountains” King size log bed

A ten drawer dresser with mirror and matching 6 drawers tall chest, a sweet carved wood bench with upholstered seat, tile-top coffee table with matching side table, wall table/credenza, round pedestal table …

** A 2004 Volvo c70 2-door rag-top convertible with 61,507 miles. It has been regularly serviced at the local Volvo dealership. Classy.

** Family is also selling their 2002 Bayliner 185 Sport boat. The picture in the ad is not the family’s boat, but the same year and model. Weather threw a glitch in getting it from the Ozarks up to the house so we’ll be taking names/phone numbers of those interested in seeing it when the world warms once again.

Question of the week: How does one open a frrrrozen lock on a pod? You tell that lock who’s boss and melt it with a lighter. Well played, right?

Since there was SO much in the home, the family rented a pod for the extra furniture – in there you’ll find a set of 6 vintage Henredon Asian-style dining chairs, 5-drawer oak dresser, chests of drawers, curved glass antique cabinet, shoe racks, black office chair …

Sun Cloud electric room heater (this winter ain’t over yet, peeps!), nice selection of Chiefs stuff (keep it positive, Patty!), Gear 360 camera, Jamo Art speaker set, pair of silver barstools with black seats …

HOW DID ONE GARAGE FIT ALL THESE TOOLS and contractor/builder/handyman HAPPINESS? Hundredszzzz of hand tools, SO many power tools (Black & Decker, Paslode, Ryobi, Delta and more), Delta 12” drill press, TWO Dayton large Commercial fans, reciprocal saw, bench sander, aaaand …

Rigid air compressor, Graco Magnum XR9 big-daddy paint sprayer, routers, scads of painting supplies (brushes etc), several pairs of sawhorses, many ladders, scaffold, 4” belt sander, huge selection of BOXES of nails/screws/washers lalala, clamps, hardhats, many many measuring tapes/caulk guns, circular saws, wood trim and scraps aaaaand …

SO many orange electrical cords, tarps, several slabs of granite and Corian, Stihl chainsaw, B&D hedge trimmer, new hoses, 2 Shop Vacs, outdoor tent, Husky Powerwasher 1800psi, Bolens and Ryobi gas trimmers, 25-ish new and used nice door handles, lots of plumbing supplies …

Contractors and home flippers are ya listening??

Nice grey sliding door cabinet, dolly, PLAZ-HAZZ JAZZ framed poster, Crown Com-Tech 410 Professional Power Amp, Attic Pro roof mount power vent, boxes of CDs, Sanyo Xacti E2 camera, rollerblades, camera tripod …

LEICA Commercial Tripod, Minolta and Pentax 35mm cameras, several vintage cameras, 6 lenses, 2 antique radios (one Philco), antique record player (perhaps for parts?) …

New in box nice Martha Stewart white enameled cast iron pot, Kodak Carousel Projector, Bissel Vac, Voxton acoustic guitar with case, 4 black kitchen chairs, many coolers, gas cans …

Several items from the downtown Commerce Bank building including 3 white hanging lamps and a way-coolio outdoor (almost) circle bar made of mixed metals and marble top …

For you KC B-Q-ers, we have a Backwoods Smoker and a black one that needs some definite love but, from what I heard from my BBQ connection, this dandy was made in Kansas and can be loved back into making some baby backs … get on it.

A “mystery gas grill” … I say that because the cover is literally frozen on it and cannot be removed with gloves on and when I tried to remove it yesterday, the frostbite on my fingers had already reached defcon pain level of 4. I gave up, hobbled inside and committed to the covered grill shot …

7 wrought iron armed barstools (sold in sets), outdoor table with 6 chairs and 6 (currently frozen) pads, brass baker’s rack …

Piles o’ landscaping blocks (see pics), 5 boxes of Roca Bergen floor tiles, boxes of grout, tool chest on wheels, many tool chests …

I’m quite certain I’ve missed something to list – espesh in the tool department cuz I’m not sure what they all do 🙂 – suffice it to say that this little gem is a Jim-dandy and know you’ll be glad you came by. AND you’ll also get to witness the debut of our new rockstar Blue Tape Estate Sales jackets. We look good in Blue.

Don’t forget to put out your line marker if you get there early, dress warm and make certain y’all have plenty of gas in your mobile, be careful out there this week and when the situation calls for it, hug it out 🙂

By the by, our Cedarcreek sale, January 28-29 (Sunday-Monday) is FAB – lots of terrific furniture, Bernhardt, Madden McFarland and Norwalk, Viking 2pc oven, John Deere riding mower, Harvard Air Hockey and Foosball tables, Fischer pool table, craft room, artwork and WOW so much more.

See you Monday!
Nancy

And the true blue Blue Tape A Team 🙂
