SUNDAY – TUESDAY SALE!
Our Sale home is located in Merriam, KS (though the address may read Shawnee). Home is located just off Johnson Drive, West of I-35 (Ikea) and East of Nieman. Address will be posted at 5:00am Sunday on estatesales .net as well as our Blue Tape Sales Facebook page.
SUNDAY, August 16 ……… 8:00am – 3:00pm
MONDAY, August 17 ..…… 8:00am – 2pm @ 50% off
TUESDAY, August 18 ……. 8:00am – noon @ 75% off
We’ve chosen some greeaaat sales lately cuz again I’ll say:
BUCKLE UP and note the extended hours!
Bring bags and boxes and we’re anticipating limited entry to start.
Please read through all this as it will provide important info for you to navigate the sale and have the Best. Time. E-verrrr.
- Entry to the Sale will be through the side gate of the home and I will leave directions as to where the Line Markers will begin and trail. Assuming it will be :00 dark-thirty when some of y’all get there so be careful navigating the grass.
- There are uneven areas in the backyard as well as several stone and wood steps, steps into and in the home (including a narrow staircase) so please take into consideration all that navigating before you choose to attend this sale as you take full responsibility and liability for being in and on the property.
- The backyard is almost half the contents of the sale as the homeowner loved to shop and there’s no room in the home cuz it’s FULL also! The temps are supposed to drop a bit so HAPPYDANCE on that!
- We will have at least 2 Hold Areas – one on the back deck and one in the yard. We will have some specific bins to gather your treasures in though we strongly encourage you to bring boxes and bags with you.
- Internet is a bit wonky at times so we strongly encourage you to bring cash in case – we will not do offline charges should the Square reader not connect.
Our super-fab homeowner is a retired Hallmark Artist who designed lots of ornaments that you’ve probs have on your Holiday tree – she is also an avid shopper and collector and YOU get to reap the rewards!
Know that while there are, at this moment, 380+ pics, I’ve deleted close to 100 so y’all don’t tire of scrolling – just TRUST you wanna be there! In an effort to streamline the ad, I’m going to list some highlights:

The CLOTHES and COATS!
OMG, some fun (some funky!) clothes, jackets and whOa, the coats (season is almost here!) SO many new in long and short, puffer, all-weather, many leather (including fringe!), motorcycle, pea-coats … also, a terrific selection of backpacks and handbags …
HALLMARK Ornaments:
Hundreds and HUNDREDS – many designed by the Homeowner – large, medium and itty bitties – mostly boxed, lots unboxed … and SO much other Hallmark items – lots new!
HALLOWEEN:
The yellow tent is almost ALL Halloween decor, costumes lalala … we’re about 8 minutes from this festive holiday so stock up!
Albums & 45s: many genres, a lot of them we rocked to in the 70’s & 80’s. 7 large boxes of albums and at least 7 shoeboxes of 45s. Also some colorful and groovy 45 cases …
Nice Furniture:

Never have we EVER seen this volume (except Toys R Us when the kids were little) storage units and bins FULL – just look at the pics – ANNND plan on holiday GIFTING cuz most have not been opened …
STORAGE!
We lost count of the maybe 18+ black sturdy shelf units (pick up Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning, by the by). Many other plastic and metal shelves as well – also have quite a few storage cabinets (all of which can hold all your new purchases) …
The GARAGE!
It’s been awhile since a car has parked in the 2 bays cuz it’s FULL! Hand and power tools, Frigidaire upright freezer, household goods (13 of those shelf units!), lots of baking stuff (including Wilton) and SO much more …
DVDs and CDs: Hundreeeeeedzzzz of them.

Certain I’ve missed some things – do your best to navigate the photos and text me if you have questions (913.709.9016) about the stuff, the line marker system or where an item is located – happy to answer any questions I’m able to – just not the day before or the morning of the sale. Dolly Parton needs her pre-show rest time – as do I. Feel free to text on sale days but probs won’t respond right away and sometimes it’s after the sale. Just lettin’ ya know.

- By entering the sale property, you assume all responsibilty, risk and liability.
- We accept cash & credit cards buys over $10 w/ valid driver’s license
- Please heed the No Parking signs and do not block neighbor’s driveways
- If you get to the sale before we open, please place a line marker on the sidewalk by the front door – see full rules on door of sale home. Limited entry may be necessary at the start of the sale.
- The Blue Tape A Team does not assist with moving items – our talents lie in our personalities, not in our muscles.
- We reserve the right to check any bags that come in – or go out of – the home.
- If you have a question during sale hours, please text 913.709.9016 as I am usually not able to answer the phone while we’re serving guests.
- Pictures were taken on different days – items may not be in the place originally pictured.
