We are offering the original pipe organ pieces from the Trinity Episcopal Church in Independence; built in 1881. Harry S. Truman and his wife, Bess, were married there in 1919.
As was written in The Examiner,
The wedding music was by Mrs. Joseph C. Story, organist, who used the Lohengrin and Mendelssohn wedding marches, “Serenade” by Gounod, and “Traumerei” by Schumann.
Think outside the bun here, especially on the unique wood pipes: they would make an exceptional fireplace mantel, a floating shelf OR a series of graduated shelves in a room … place and space 2 vertically, add glass or wood shelves in between and place your pottery collection or photos of the fam. Possibilities are endless in owning these pieces of historic happiness. Would love to hear your creative ideas!
